I was recently invited to take part in the 'Big Weekend' at the greengallery up in Stirlingshire, where a little selection of my copper birds went on display. The exhibition runs until 19th June, so you still have a few more weeks to catch it, if you are in that neck of the woods, just check opening times before you go!
The Greengallery is a contemporary rural art gallery in central Scotland, which is situated in the picturesque village of Buchlyvie near Loch Lomond. The gallery is housed in a beautiful Victorian coach house and exhibits gorgeous work from a wide selection of contemporary artists working in Scotland and the odd one from further afield like me! They have four exhibitions a year usually in March, May, September and November and in between times they are closed or open by appointment. Showcasing the very best artists and craftsmen working in Scotland today, the gallery offers contemporary Scottish paintings, ceramics, wood, metal, glass, textiles, jewellery, homewares and handcrafted furniture and is well worth a visit. They also have a shop front gallery in the town of Dollar too.
